Sabina Shah has a broad-based securities and corporate practice, advising domestic and international clients with respect to Canadian securities and corporate matters. She provides leadership and expertise in governance matters to a number of public and private companies, limited partnerships, trusts, and non-profit entities. Her skillset ranges from mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings, take-over bids and corporate reorganizations to cross-border issues and complex governance and compliance matters. She served as Chair of the Securities Section of the Canadian Bar Association (Alberta) from 2014 to 2018.

Sabina is also an active community volunteer.  Sabina currently acts as Chair of the Governance Committee on the Calgary Public Library Foundation Board of Directors, as well as Chair, Community Projects and Development Committee at The Calgary Stampede, where she is responsible for developing community partnerships and executing community-based engagement.  She has served as a volunteer and leader with numerous other organizations including the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Women’s Leadership Council of the United Way.

Greg Walter has a commercial practice focused in financial services and real estate law, with extensive experience in bilateral and syndicated debt financings, private placements and mezzanine debt financings, as well as commercial real estate matters. He has acted as counsel for several Schedule 1 banks, credit unions, financial institutions and other private lenders, as well as some of the largest real estate developers and builders in Canada.

Greg has contributed to the professional community and community at large by participating on many not for profit boards, including the Mortgage Loans Association of Alberta and the 10,000 Kids Project Society, which raises funds for youth in need and school lunch programs.
